The developers of the game Genshin Impact are planning to host the first esports tournament. The announcement states that British students will take part in the competition, who will be divided into teams and will compete with each other in certain activities.
There will be no direct battles between the characters in the tournament, the participants will extract resources at speed and perform other activities. Registration of participants is made until May 16, after which, until May 20, qualifying matches will be held. The final of the event will take place in London on May 28, and the winners will receive prizes in the form of pyrogems and real money (from 1,000 to 5,000 pounds per team).
The final, by the way, will be held in the format of a live event, and not online.
