During another XboEra podcast, the hosts reported that in the future Mafia 4 game, Don Salieri could become the main character. The plot of the game will unfold at the beginning of the 20th century and will tell us about the life of the then young mafia.
The main setting will be Sicily, where the still inexperienced gangster will begin his journey in the underworld. It is not yet clear exactly whether Salieri will become a protagonist or an antagonist, but he will definitely be given a significant plot role.
In earlier news about Mafia 4, we learned that the game is being developed on the UE5 engine, and it is being created by a team that recently released a remake of the original first part of the series.
