Polish studio CDPR has announced that a next-gen version of The Witcher 3 will be released later this year. The initial announcement of the publication took place back in 2020, but since then the studio, apparently, had some kind of working problems.
Apparently, the plugging happened due to the fact that the Poles decided to terminate the partnership agreement with the St. Petersburg office of Saber Intetractive, which was involved in the creation of the nextgen. After that, development duties were transferred to a single office, in which they decided not to release their games on the Russian market.
The exact release date for The Witcher 3 for PS5 and Xbox Series will be announced at a later date.
