Riot Games announced that in July of this year, all voice chat conversations in the Valorant shooter will be recorded. This measure, according to the developers, will effectively deal with the toxicity of some players.
So far, we are talking about users living in North America, but then, if successful, the program will spread to other regions. It is expected that when the feature passes beta testing and will work in standard mode, it will be possible to get an account ban for toxic statements.
It is likely that some of the players will have to turn off voice chat altogether so as not to tempt themselves with statements about not very experienced teammates.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
