The State Duma is ready to unblock Instagram in Russia, but there are a number of conditions

Deputy head of the State Duma for information policy Anton Gorelkin said that Instagram could be unblocked in Russia if the leadership fulfills two conditions:

Instagram can be unlocked if two basic conditions are met. First, Meta must stop engaging in extremist activities and discrimination. Secondly, we expect from its leadership an apology to our country for legalizing calls to kill Russian citizens. Moreover, there will be no need to bend the knee or apologize in some other specific way, as is customary in Western culture today. Enough formal apologies and admit your mistake.

Recall that since March 11, Roskomnadzor has restricted access to Instagram, referring to the requirements of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

The Instagram social network distributes informational materials containing calls to commit violent acts against citizens of the Russian Federation, including military personnel.
