For the first time, the army of the Empire of Japan will be available to players, and the battles of infantry, ground vehicles and aircraft will unfold on the islands in the Pacific Ocean, including the famous Guadalcanal - one of the places where the fate of the war was determined.
The Pacific Campaign will feature new weapons and vehicles, as well as new game mechanics that reflect the new theater of operations. For example, infantrymen can now perform a “rush” - an attack during which a soldier gathers the rest of his strength and, with cold weapons in his hands (for example, a katana), violently attacks enemy positions. During the war, such “banzai attacks” were often staged by the Japanese army. Another iconic feature of that war, which will also be featured in Enlisted, is Japanese HEAT mines on a pole. The soldier with it must get as close to the enemy tank as possible in order to hit right on target. Finally, amphibious tanks will help overcome numerous water obstacles, and phosphorus grenades will set fire to enemy trenches and smoke out the enemy with toxic smoke. In total, players will receive dozens of new types of weapons and equipment - both Japanese and American.
The Pacific Ocean campaign will be available for free to all players, however, if you wish, you can additionally purchase a special kit that makes leveling easier and includes premium squads. Users who pre-order the bundle will also receive exclusive cosmetic items.
