According to The Hollywood Reporter , Stranger Things actor David Harbor will play the mentor role in the film adaptation of Gran Turismo.
Viewers will be shown a story about an ordinary teenager who was fond of a computer game about racing. The teenager was so passionate about the game that he decided to become a real racer and take part in professional competitions. The film is based on real events.
The film is directed by Neil Blomkamp (District 9). The premiere will take place on August 11, 2023.
