Representatives of the Blizzard studio are not against holding collaboration events with other universes in their future game Overwatch 2 , as is done in the same Fortnite. Since the second part of the team shooter will be distributed on a shareware model, the development team will be able to keep the gameplay up to date with already known methods.
Collaborations will allow attracting a new audience of players, which will also have a positive effect on the studio's profits. Fans will have the opportunity not only to enjoy cool events, but also to receive valuable rewards in the form of cosmetics for their characters and weapons.
The release of Overwatch 2 will take place on October 4, the project will be available to everyone for free.
