Blizzard has shared news about a new defense system that will be used in the Overwatch 2 project. The new mechanism will monitor the atmosphere in the voice chat and, if a toxic player is found in it, the AI will be able to issue a ban based on the analyzed data.
The studio will store the negotiations on its servers and, in case of imposing an unlawful punishment (errors will happen, there is no way without it), the conversation will be assessed by a real employee of the company. The data will be stored for 30 days, which is enough to sort out a possible problem situation.
Thus, the developers will try to create a favorable atmosphere within the community and prevent the emergence of aggressive gamers.
Overwatch 2 is expected to release on October 4th.
The developers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang are preparing a large-scale update called “Breaking the Waves”, which will be available on March 19. Players can expect a new hero, new events, rewards, as well as changes to the seasonal system.
