The new The Witcher will not be released before 2026

The head of the Polish studio CDPR, Adam Kiczynski, cooled the squirming of The Witcher fans by saying that the new part of the universe will not be released until 2026. Earlier we learned that the developers are planning to create a new trilogy, however, as we can see, it will take a very long time to wait.

The main problem of such a long development is that the studio needs to understand the mechanisms of the Unreal Engine 5 game engine. It is on it that a new project will be created, and therefore the authors want to implement all the capabilities of the system in order to present us with a revolutionary product.

CDPR also plans to make the second part of Cyberpunk, but it will also have to wait at least a couple more years.
