Filming for the second season of House of the Dragon will begin in the coming months!

House of the Dragon showrunner Ryan Condal revealed in an interview that filming for the second season of the popular television show, the prequel to Game of Thrones, will begin in early 2023.

The showrunner also said that work on the script for the second season had already begun a long time ago: around the time when the first was at the post-production stage.

HBO doesn't want the show to go on a long hiatus. However, the second season does not even have a rough release window.
