Henry Cavill will no longer play Geralt in The Witcher

Some time ago it became known that British actor Henry Cavill agreed with Warner Bros. about returning to the role of Superman in future projects based on DC comics. Next, we were informed that the star was completing work on the TV series The Witcher, in which he played the role of Geralt of Rivia.

In subsequent seasons of the show, Cavill will be replaced in his position by Liam Hemsworth, another eminent Hollywood actor. It is not yet clear how this will affect the project itself and its popularity among fans, since everyone is already accustomed to seeing Henry in the image of a gray-haired hunter of evil spirits.

Recall that The Witcher is based on the works of the Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski and the game universe created by the CD Project RED studio. Cavill's final third season of the series will air in the summer of 2023, with final releases planned for 2024 and 2025.
