Studio Bandai Namco has announced a new game called Sword Art Online: Last Recollection, the events of which are based on the anime series of the same name. According to the publisher, the story in the project will be familiar to us, but the authors plan to slightly change it by adding new characters and completing it differently.
As part of Sword Art Online: Last Recollection, the entire cycle of the Sword Art Online series, which has long turned into a kind of analogue of a soap opera, will end. Apparently, the developers decided to put an end to this story in order to then switch to other universes.
The release of the novelty is planned in 2023, PC and consoles of both generations will receive their versions.
