Electronic Arts has patented a technology that allows you to determine fixed matches

Electronic Arts specialists have filed an application for registration of a patent, which indicates the specifics of a new technology that allows you to determine the presence of contractual matches between players in online projects. The new technology will analyze the behavior of the participants in the matches and, based on some signs, will indicate whether they are acting together or not.

The problem of “negotiations” has long existed in various online games, in which teams or solo players can agree in advance and thereby gain an unreasonable advantage over rivals. Apparently, EA decided to seriously deal with such behavior of users who, although they do not cheat, obviously abuse what they should not.

When the new AI will be introduced into the studio's games is not yet clear - the technology is clearly still at a very early stage of production.
