Rumors have surfaced online, hinting that the Marvel's Avengers servers will be permanently shut down at the end of 2023. The main reason for this decision lies in the fact that the game was never able to gain any decent popularity among the audience, although it lasted a long time.

The second not unimportant reason is the difficulties in using the Foundation game engine. Despite the fact that the technology was created by specialists from Crystal Dynamics, who also made the game itself, over time, upgrading the system required more and more resources from the team. Apparently, given the low interest in the game among the audience, at some point it became simply irrational.
