Ubisoft has published a new financial report, which contains a lot of bad news about the studio's projects. Most relevant is the fact that the release of the pirate action game Skull and Bones has been pushed back again, this time the game will be released in the next fiscal year ending April 1, 2024.
In addition, the developers were forced to curtail the production of three unknown titles. The reasons for this are not disclosed, but most likely it is a lack of funds due to low sales of existing games and the high cost of developing future projects.
In the future, Ubisoft plans to seriously cut costs, reducing them for the current year by 200 million euros.
