The founder of the Syberia Nova studio shared fresh information about locations and gameplay. The game will recreate the events of 1612 with the participation of Minin and Pozharsky.
The developers plan to make the game linear. There will be no open world. New parts of the map will be available as you progress. There will also be no instant movement between locations. During the transition, players are waiting for various events and battles with opponents. In cities there will be 2-3 large districts. Players will be able to visit Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl (during the uprising), Moscow and the forest belts of Rus'. Studio Syberia Nova filmed in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin and the merchant's farmstead in order to recreate the events of those times as much as possible.
The appearance of the character can be changed using the combat system. Players will be able to dress up as a robber, peasant, prince or buffoon. Each skin will have a corresponding weapon. Heroes will have to fight with wild animals and enemies. Some of them can be negotiated.
The plot for "Trouble" is being developed by five historical consultants with advanced degrees.
The studio ran into a costume problem:
The tragedy of the situation is that there - in our costume shop - is a solid sackcloth. If you do everything reliably, then the screen will be fifty shades of gray. In the clothes of peasants - for sure. So the dilemma is how to proceed. Make it elegant or believable.
The game will be released on PC, it will also appear on consoles. The developers want the game to hit Steam and the Epic Games Store, but most likely it will be available on VK Play.
