Rumor has it that Bethesda and Microsoft have not agreed on a release date for the new Starfield space sim. ResetEra user Horns points out that brands aren't sure if the game should be released now or if they need to take more time to finalize it.
According to Horns, Microsoft bosses want to release Starfield in June, while the development team wants to slow down so as not to release a half-finished product. The studio would not mind releasing a new product in the fall, but the publisher may well put pressure on the developers, trying to send the project on sale before the end of the current financial year.
Whatever the case, Starfield doesn't have an official release date yet, so we'll just have to wait for official news.
