The Lords of the Fallen will be a soft reboot of the series

The developers of the action game The Lords of the Fallen shared fresh details about the sequel, saying that the new project will be both a continuation and a restart of the series. The events of the game will unfold ten years after the end of the previous story, and in it we will meet with the already familiar antagonist - the fallen god Adyr.

The world of the sequel will get more unique locations, including an underground area called Umbral. The player will get there after the death of his character, and from this location it will be possible to get out on foot, saving resources (we can spend them on resurrection at the nearest save point). In the release of The Lords of the Fallen, there will be nine character classes and three factions, by joining which we will be able to complete tasks and receive unique equipment parts for this.

Unfortunately, the game does not yet have a release date.
