The heroine has no health scale. In case of severe damage, it needs to be revived.
Capcom's Resident Evil 4 remake hit the front page of Game Informer magazine. And here are some details about the game that our colleagues managed to fish out:
- Replay value and flexibility are key pillars in development.
- QTE is missing.
- The hero can carry multiple knives.
- A laser sight will be available. Yellow herbs are present.
- Ground executions could hinder Plagas formation
- Pressing the right stick is used to control Ashley (she can follow closely or retreat, but will not stay in one place)
- Ashley won't hide in trash cans.
- The heroine has no health scale. With severe damage, it needs to be revived.
- A new weapon, the Bolt Thrower (Crossbow), is available.
- A new enemy will appear with a hammer and a bull mask. Capcom is teasing other new enemies.
- Players will find a lot of side quests and puzzles.
- The total amount of ammo and bonuses has increased.
- You can barricade yourself during the hut attack moment, like in the RE2 remake.
The journalists managed to play for a couple of hours and, according to them, the remake turned out to be much more accurate compared to the re-releases of RE2 or RE3, and some scenes were completely recreated 1 to 1.
