Filming for the Five Nights at Freddy's adaptation has begun

In the US, filming began on the adaptation of the popular horror film Five Nights at Freddy's. Emma Tammy (Into Darkness, Resident of Fear) will direct. Starring Matthew Lillard (Scream, Hackers, Salt Lake Punk) and Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games, Kill for Like, Tomorrow Man).

The film is being produced by Blumhouse Productions. Producer Jason Bloom posted a photo from the set. A release date for Five Nights at Freddy's has yet to be announced.

Five Nights at Freddy's takes place in the fictional Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Killer animatronics in the form of anthropomorphic animals come to life when the night falls.
