Fresh information from the developers about the remake of Resident Evil 4

The developers of the updated version of Resident Evil 4 based on the RE Engine share fresh information about the game. Capcom staff have revealed the details of the remake.

The developers took into account the special attention of fans of the Resident Evil series to Ada Wong, and therefore decided to increase her screen time. Also in the updated version, special attention was paid to Krueger and helicopter pilot Mike.

Latest details about the game:

• The village will be larger than in the original.
• There is practically no QTE in the game.
• For killing snakes, the hero will receive snake meat, not chicken eggs.
• Hook-man from earlier concepts will not be in the remake, instead mini-bosses Garrador and Regenerator are announced.
• The remake will include New Game+
• Las Plagas only spawn from the necks of enemies.
• Ashley is not annoying in the game and is a fun addition to it.
• Players are waiting for an advanced photo mode.
• The island's level design is very different from the original, but in terms of size, it could be about the same as the original.
• The developers have added the control scheme from the original 2005 game with minor improvements.
• It will still be possible to complete the game with one knife, except for some moments in the game.
• The developers have confirmed that the Duke from Resident Evil Village and the merchant from Resident Evil 4 know each other.
