The family of Bruce Willis shared information that the actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
“Today, there is no cure for this disease and we hope that this reality will change in the coming years. As Bruce’s condition improves, we hope that any media attention can be directed towards shedding light on this disease.” which needs much more awareness and research,” the relatives said.
Recall that those close to Willis - including wife Emma Heming Willis, ex-wife Demi Moore and his daughters - reported dementia back in 2022. But the relatives did not know the exact form.
According to the Mayo Clinic, frontotemporal dementia is “a term for a group of brain disorders that primarily affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. These areas of the brain are usually associated with personality, behavior and language."
One of the latest works of the actor is the film "Detective Knight: Independence" (January 2023). Also in March, the action movie "Soul Catcher" is expected.
