Square Enix has announced that Luminous Productions will close on May 1 this year. This organization recently released the adventure Forspoken , which turned out to be as bad as it could be.
The SE management did not disclose the reason for the company's closure, noting only that the team would be switched to work on other projects. The company promised to use all the experience gained by the team to create future successful HD titles.
It should be noted that Forspoken has attracted criticism from both players and journalists, which is quite rare. Apparently, it was the failed release that forced the Japanese to reconsider the brand's future development plans.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
