The developers of the shooter Battlefield 2042 from the studio DICE are thinking about adding cross-play between consoles in one of the upcoming patches. In this format, PC users will be excluded from matches of console players, who, for obvious reasons, have always dominated their opponents with gamepads.
In addition, the studio wants to add a general chat, which will simplify communication between players, expand the number of available vehicles, weapons and attachments for it. It will not do without balance changes and the addition of a huge portion of cosmetics.
