The other day, the soul-like Bleak Faith: Forsaken was released, the authors of which were accused of stealing part of the animations from the Elden Ring project. Studio Arhangel issued a statement that the animations were purchased from the Epic Games store, so there should be no claims against them.
However, now there are no animation data in the Epic Marketplace, since the seller himself (a certain PersiaNinja) removed them from there. The Epic Games administration commented on the incident, saying that everyone who posts their product on their site guarantees that they have copyright on it. But the studio cannot check the existence of rights in any way, and therefore what happened happened.
Meanwhile, the authors of Bleak Faith: Forsaken have already promised to replace controversial animations with unique ones.
The developers thanked the fans: "Thank you all for your support. Together, we have reached this important milestone. See you in the vastness of Thedas on October 31st!"
On Metacritic, the film received a score of 46 out of 100 and 5.3 out of 10, which also indicates a cool reception.
There is no need to pay anything for GamesVoice creation.
Unfortunately, we are talking about a shooter for VR devices.
