Horizon Forbidden West Story DLC Coming Only to PS5

Horizon Forbidden West developer Guerilla Games has revealed that Burning Shores, the upcoming story expansion, will only be released on PS5. Older consoles will not receive DLC, so fans of the franchise will need to update their console if they want to experience the new story arc.

Meanwhile, refusing to release a patch on previous generation consoles will allow developers to focus on one thing. By dedicating all the resources on PS5, the studio will be able to make the DLC as high quality as possible, and its content beautiful. The update will include many activities that will significantly expand the lore of the game.

Burning Shores will release on April 19th.
