Horizon Forbidden West developer Guerilla Games has revealed that Burning Shores, the upcoming story expansion, will only be released on PS5. Older consoles will not receive DLC, so fans of the franchise will need to update their console if they want to experience the new story arc.

By dedicating all the resources on PS5, the studio will be able to make the DLC as high quality as possible, and its content beautiful.
