Representatives of the company 1-A Pictures, which are engaged in the production of an animated series based on NieR: Automata, reported that the team was once again forced to stop working. The reason was the COVID-19 infection, which for the second time prevents the company from releasing episodes of the show.

At this time, 1-A Pictures has no word on when the series will resume airing. Previously, a similar situation happened with the 4th and subsequent episodes, but now fans will not be able to enjoy watching the 9th and subsequent episodes according to the schedule. Previously, the broadcast resumed on February 18.
