The Lords of the Fallen is the sequel to the 2014 Lords of the Fallen. Now the game will be called Lords of the Fallen.
The change is listed in the tech demo released yesterday. The continuation of the game will be called like the original.
The developers have not yet commented on their decision. Instead of adding the article "The", they could just add the number "2", or call the game a "remake".
Recall that earlier this was the case with the game Layers of Fear: the remastered collection of the series was originally called Layers of Fears, and then the second letter "s" was removed from it.
The patch added new content to the game.
The console release is still a long way off.
