The creators of Diablo 4 plan to release content updates every 3 months

The developers of the Diablo 4 action game from the Blizzard studio plan to release content updates for their game once every 3 months. This was told by Joe Piepiora, who holds the post of junior development manager.

According to Piepiora, major updates will include both story missions that expand the lore of the game, as well as new mechanics and additional functionality. It will not do without new abilities, sets of armor and weapons, and much more. The release of updates will be tied to the start of the next season, as it was in the previous part of the series.

The specific details of the updates will be known closer to their release. Recall that the release of Diablo 4 is scheduled for June 6th.
