Gaming insider Tom Henderson has revealed that Sony will introduce a new model of its PS5 console at the release of the new Spider-Man 2 game from Insomniac Games. This is a variant with a removable drive, the release of which is likely to take place in September.
The journalist notes that the production of devices will begin this month, it will combine elements of both versions of the consoles currently available for sale. A sort of slim option, which will be more affordable than the older version.
Most likely, the announcement of the platform and the new display of Spider-Man 2 will take place in the near future at a major presentation that Sony is preparing for all its fans.
The success of the title is quite expected.
