Rumors: Mortal Kombat 12 could be released in October

Redditor GamingLeaksAndRumours, whose account has now been deleted,reported that NetherRealm plans to release its next major game called Mortal Kombat 12 this fall. To be more precise, on October 10, and in the near future (in May) there will be an official show of new items.

According to the source, the authors will show a CGI trailer, the gameplay will be shown later.
