The authors of Battlefield 2042 spoke about the updated weapon customization system

Studio DICE shared new details about the customization system for classic weapons in their shooter Battlefield 2042 . We are talking about guns that were added to the game from the previous parts of the series, which will look much better in the upcoming update.

The first models in line for the improved customization system will be the M16A3, A-91, M416, MTAR-21, AEK-971 and GOL Sniper Magnum. At launch, players will be able to attach scopes and barrel attachments to these guns, while customizing magazines will be possible a bit later.

As for skins, universal skins will be introduced for classic weapons, that is, available for each individual model. All this stuff can be tried in the fifth season, which starts in Battlefield 2042 in June.
