Announced a new fighting game Mortal Kombat 1

The NetherRealm Studio team has released the official trailer for the new fighting game Mortal Kombat 1 . This project will not be a direct continuation of the series, but will restart the title, linking it to the canonical ending of the previous 11th part.

In the video, we are shown familiar characters that Liu Kang, the god of fire, meets. Judging by the fact that now the place of Shao Kahn was taken by an alternative version of the earthly champion, the creation of a new reality did not go quite according to plan. The player will have to protect the timeline from destruction, simultaneously dealing with everyone who decides to challenge us.

Officially Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on September 19, before that the game will have several stages of testing.
