Take a look at the first 17 minutes of Far Cry 6!

The video became available largely thanks to IGN journalists, who agreed with the publisher to record the first 17 minutes of Far Cry 6 gameplay. The video was filmed on the PlayStation 5 in 4K at 60 FPS.

In Far Cry 6, you play as Dani Rojas, a guerrilla from the fictional land of Yara. He confronts local dictator Anton Castillo (played by Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad fame). Dani will shoot a lot, drive cars and literally fly through the air using a wingsuit and a jetpack. And all in order to overthrow the dictatorial regime.

In addition to dozens of weapons, players will have access to a special satchel with rare gadgets. For example, to more effectively destroy enemies, you can use a mortar.

Far Cry 6 release date set for October 7th. The game will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
