Overwatch 2 developer apologizes to players

Blizzard has finally acknowledged its next jamb.
Overwatch 2 developer apologizes to players

Aaron Keller, head of development and support for Overwatch 2 , has apologized to players for the company's decision not to add a story mode to the game. Initially, it was this activity that was positioned as the only significant difference between the sequel and the original game, but now even gamers will not receive it.

Instead of a full-fledged story with a separate progression, character skill trees and interesting lore, we will get standard story missions. They were also in the first part of the series, so the fans of the franchise had a huge reason to criticize the developers. Although, given the current bottom of Blizzard's reputation, this is unlikely to affect anything.

As for the same story missions in Overwatch 2, the studio plans to add them before the end of the year.
