The Gex franchise is getting a reboot

Square Enix has revealed that the classic Gex series will be relaunching soon. The development of the new trilogy will be done by the staff of the studio Limited Run Games.

It is reported that the list of parts planned for updating will include the games Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. There are no details about the restart yet, but, apparently, something like remasters awaits us with modern graphics and a concept transferred from the original.

Nothing is known about the release date and platforms of the new Gex.
