The developer of Far Cry 6 was surprised to find in the game a hidden reference to his deceased pet. The favorite cat of the lead FPS designer died right during the development of the game.
Ted Timmins, Game Director of Far Cry 6, recently posted a tweet stating that his late cat Totoro was immortalized within the walls of Yara. According to the post, Timmins' cat died unexpectedly during the game's development, but will now live forever in graffiti along with his other pet, Yoshi the cat.
Attached to the tweet was a photo of graffiti from the game, as well as pictures of real cats.
I am eternally grateful for this. For me it was a surprise and means a lot.
