Ubisoft has stopped developing a sequel to its adventure game Immortals Fenyx Rising. Initially, they started talking about the game in the spring of 2022, but since then there has been no specific information about it. Apparently, the company did not see the prospects for the continuation, since the original did not achieve the results the authors needed.
According to the source, Ubisoft was sure that the sequel would not gain much popularity, and therefore there was little point in spending money on it. The developers dreamed that Immortals Fenyx Rising would become something like Nintendo's Zelda, but the original game failed to come close to a more successful title. Yes, and in terms of sales for the franchise, everything was sad, and therefore we expect the result.
Despite this, Immortals Fenyx Rising enjoyed a certain interest from the audience and earned very flattering reviews from critics.
