A team of technical experts from Digital Foundry conducted an analysis of the performance of the new 3rd person shooter Remnant 2 on current generation consoles.
Judging by the result, the game has problems in terms of performance. Despite the fact that the Gunfire Games team got used to Unreal Engine 5 quite well, they did not manage to properly set up the client for platform hardware. Some non-xgen features do not work in the game at all, while in many scenes there are FPS drops and other delights of poor optimization.
At the moment, all the efforts of the Remnant 2 developers are aimed at creating technical patches with edits. The project, in general, was liked by gamers, if not for the technical nuances.
