Larian Studios chief Sven Vincke has stated that he and his colleagues have no plans to release expansions for Baldur's Gate 3 yet. Of course, there is no talk of a full-fledged continuation yet, and all this is due not to the laziness of the team, but to the rules of the DnD universe.
It is on its basis that Baldur's Gate 3 exists, in which going beyond the available levels can make the heroes look like deities. It would also be very difficult for developers to balance opponents, besides, if a sequel is made, then the authors will have to determine the canonical ending, and there are 17,000 of them in the project now.
Of course, over time, the decision of the company's management may change, but in the foreseeable future, Baldur's Gate 3 is unlikely to receive any development.
The action game also received a content update.
