The Japanese company Capcom has opened a new section on itswebsite , which is dedicated to the upcoming 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. As part of this event, until the end of October, the developers intend to make several announcements.
The dates when the announcements will take place are October 21, 22, 25 and 29. On October 21, the company will announce 3 news, 22 - two, and in the last days - only one. Two out of 9 planned announcements have already been made. So, Capcom talked about holding a competition for Resident Evil merchandise, and the second was the announcement of Resident Evil 4 VR for Oculus Quest 2.
There is a lot of speculation about the remaining announcements. Some portals claim that we are waiting for the announcement of a story addition for Resident Evil: Village . Most likely, the company saved the largest announcements for October 25 and 29. And I'm to some extent sure that one of them will be a new game in the series (or a remake of existing ones).
