The developers of the new asymmetric horror The Texas Chain Saw Massacre have decided to turn off crossplay for PC owners. The reason was the dominance of cheaters who prevent console players from enjoying the project.
This means that from now on, when playing The Texas Chain Saw Massacre on a personal computer, you will not come across owners of PS5 and Xbox Series platforms in matches. The latter constantly complained that there were users of banned software in their matches, whose actions broke the entire gameplay. The developers are not yet sure whether they will return the crossplay feature for PC in the future, but they still have some plans to combat cheaters.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre was released on August 18th.
