Overwatch 2 has seen another wave of cheater bans

True, they were not the only ones who suffered.
Overwatch 2 has seen another wave of cheater bans

Blizzard Studios spoke about another wave of bans in its online shooter Overwatch 2 . According to the developers, in 2023 they managed to detect and ban 250,000 cheaters.

It is worth noting that the game itself is free, and therefore it will not be difficult for violators to create a new account and continue playing. Blizzard promises to continue to improve its anti-cheat system so that it can more quickly detect hackers and punish them before they harm other players.

By the way, about other players. Along with the cheaters, third parties who participated in matches together with the banned person also fell under the wave of bans. The developers did not specify how many games together a person had to play in order to be considered involved in shady dealings with a cheater.
