Fans of the series have long wondered whether The Elder Scrolls 6 would become an Xbox exclusive after Bethesda was acquired by Microsoft in 2020. According to recently disclosed information about Microsoft's future development strategy since 2018, the game will not appear on PlayStation.
Axios reporter Steven Totilo posted a photo of a presentation showing Microsoft's plans for Bethesda games. In the PlayStation column opposite The Elder Scrolls 6 there is a “red cross”.
