The authors of the metroidvania Necrofugitive spoke in more detail about the plot

Studio Black Garden has shared fresh details about its new metroidvania called Necrofugitive. We were told about a plot in which we will take control of a prisoner who is able to take the forms of different monsters.

The events of the game will unfold in the kingdom of Avencia, whose inhabitants want to destroy us. The hero will have to fight his way through the king's army and confront the strongest warriors of the state, using his supernatural powers. At some time, you should hide from the eyes of your pursuers, so that you can then strike using the effect of surprise.

Necrofugitive is planned for release sometime in the future.
