The technical details of the PC version of Call of Duty: Vanguard have become known, as well as the period when the pre-load of the military shooter will begin.
Let's start with the Vanguard PC system requirements, as they look very interesting. In a new post on the Call of Duty blog, the system requirements have been broken down by features and performance you can get at each level. Presumably, just such a computer will be required in order to avoid friezes, lags, freezes and other unpleasant moments with appropriate graphics settings.

A separate section describes the solution in the form of modular storage. The standard size is 61 GB, while the minimum is only 36 GB for multiplayer and zombie modes only, but you can add Ultra HD textures to increase the weight by 32 or even 64 GB. Obviously, this is completely optional and should only be used if you have the appropriate hardware. And if such a step does not reduce the FPS.
As for the preload of Call of Duty: Vanguard, it is already available for console versions, and on PC it starts at 19:00 on November 2 (today) through the Battle.net launcher. However, it is not clear if the PC preload contains textures for ultra-high resolution.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
