The M109 self-propelled howitzer will be added to the line of ground vehicles of several countries at once, and China will have a similar class self-propelled gun PLZ-83. Aviation fans will have access to the F-111 tactical bomber, playing as Japanese ground equipment - a modern air defense system - TAN-SAM-1C, and the battleships HMS Iron Duke and IJN Yamashiro will take to the seas of War Thunder. The update will also feature dozens of other types of military equipment, new maps and game features.
American M109 self-propelled guns have been produced since the early sixties, participated in all US ground operations, are still in service with dozens of countries and are used in modern conflicts. In the territory of the former USSR, the expression “artillery is the god of war” is widely known; in the USA it is called the “king of battle,” which perfectly reflects the role of this class of equipment on the battlefield.
The new update will introduce several modifications of the M109: Germany and Italy will receive the M109G with smoke grenade launchers, Israel will receive the basic M109, and the USA and Britain will receive the M109A1 with an extended barrel. All variants of the M109 are united by a single projectile - a powerful 155-mm high explosive weighing more than 43 kg. Such a charge is enough to “blow away” any lightly armored vehicle with the first shot, and if it hits a weakly protected place, it will harm any tank.

The F-111, an American long-range tactical bomber that entered service in the late sixties, is the world's first production aircraft to pioneer the introduction of variable-sweep wings and turbojet engines with afterburners. The vehicle took part in the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm and was used by the Australian Air Force until 2010.
Fans of a large fleet can now pre-order two new premium ships: the super-dreadnought Iron Duke, the flagship of the British Grand Fleet in the epic Battle of Jutland, and the Japanese battleship Yamashiro, which in the last battle single-handedly opposed six American ships of a similar class.
