For some reason, Alan Wake 2 doesn't use the best tracing system to its fullest potential.

The Digital Foundry team conducted another technical analysis of the release version of the horror game Alan Wake 2 . Before the game's release, Nvidia actively advertised the graphics and ray tracing system implemented in the game, but for some reason this functionality does not actually work to its full potential.

Despite the fact that tracing does not implement all its functionality, Alan Wake 2 still looks very beautiful. Some journalists and gamers, in general, called the project a breakthrough in terms of visuals, so the Remedy studio should be given credit for this alone.

Alan Wake 2 is available on PC and current generation consoles.
