Representatives of the Insomniac Games studio may make Miles Morales the next protagonist of future games in the Spider-Man franchise.
Spider-Man 2 writers Britney Morris and Ben Arfman believe that this character is quite capable of single-handedly defending New York from villains. The authors consider this approach a logical development of the title and the character itself, although many will continue to perceive Miles as an alternative version of the main character, who will forever remain Peter Parker.
Meanwhile, other IG staffers said the proposal to shift the focus of the narrative to Morales was taken out of the contact interview. Because of this, it is not clear what the studio will do (perhaps this stuffing was used to test the audience’s reaction to the replacement of the main character in future Spider-Man installments).
The information was also confirmed by another reliable source.
The samurai action game couldn't beat out only Helldivers 2 and God of War.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
